Reservoir Sampler

Hopper-type sampling devices are easy to assemble, cost-effective, highly accurate, and reliable sampling devices. They are frequently used in primary, secondary, tertiary, and quaternary sampling stages, as well as in material splitting. Hopper-type sampling devices are used in a wide range of applications in metal mining. Hopper sampling devices are fully enclosed, 360° rotatable sample collection devices. Depending on the application, the sample collection device may include a single cutter or multiple cutters. The cutter(s) rotate at a continuous and stable speed in the falling material or sludge stream, thus collecting samples from the material passing through the feed inlet at the top of the machine.

Material passing through the cutter goes into a separate sampling hopper, while material/sludge that does not enter the cutter flows directly down and continues in the main line. These sampling devices are manufactured from carbon or stainless steel and can be coated with various coating materials, depending on application requirements or customer requests. Optionally, special coating materials for increased wear resistance are also available. Conveniently sized inspection/maintenance covers are located on the top and sides of the hopper sampling device. This also facilitates easy visibility or periodic cleaning of the internal components. Automatic internal flushing components can be added for cutters in applications where accumulation is a concern.
