Gravity Sampler

Gravity Flow Pipeline Sampling Devices enable continuous or semi-continuous slurry sampling in unpressurized lines and are used manually or automatically indoors or outdoors in the mining industry. When the process flow enters this sampler, turbulence is created due to changes in diameter and shape, and the slurry is thoroughly mixed. By entering the vertical cutter at the rear end of the sampler body, a representative vertical sample is cut and removed from the sampler. The sample is then directed to a composite sampler or analyzer. The volume of the sample can be regulated by the size of the cutter opening in samplers with an adjustable cutter. The sample line and cutter are periodically flushed to remove blockages and improve sample quality.
